Bread Pudding in a Mug

I LOVE this recipe!!! It can be made in either a mug or a bowl (pictures shown are the Venetian Spice mugs and the Tuscan bowls)

1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. sugar (optional)
1 slice of bread - any kind
*optional favorites (raisins, chopped apples, cinnamon, vanilla etc.)

Break the egg into a mug/bowl and beat with a fork. Add the milk, sugar and any optional favorites. Stir. Tear up one piece of bread into the mug/bowl and with the fork, press the bread pieces into the egg/milk mixture to moisten the bread.

Microwave for 2 - 4 minutes, depending on type of bread and wattage of microwave. Check after 2 minutes then add more in 30 second increments until the bread pudding is your desired consistency! Enjoy!!
